Yoga Sessions

Two yoga sessions daily - Vinyasa Yoga Flow, Yin Yoga, breathwork and evening meditations. 

Are you pondering upon going on a yoga retreat or curious about a more immersive experience?  Whether you are travelling solo, with a friend or with a loved one, this retreat will give you space-time out and permission to relax. Bringing you into your heart space and taking you out of your head, where we reside most of the time in day-to-day life.  You will leave the retreat feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and recharged.

Classical Villas

This brilliantly restored villa in Goa has been transformed into a luxury retreat space and has managed to keep its historical charm.

Situated in Canacona, Luxury Villa in South Goa features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, free bikes and access to a garden with a year-round outdoor pool. With beautiful bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with pool views. A car rental service is available at the villa, while cycling can be enjoyed nearby. Margao Railway Station is 44 km from Luxury 6 Bed Villa in South Goa, while Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary is 29 km from the property. The nearest airport is Dabolim Airport, 69 km from the accommodation.

The Extended Experience

We treat you to a candlelight dinner on a secluded beach where you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and breathtaking sunsets over the Arabian Sea.  While enjoying excellent hospitality and a scrumptious dinner in a candlelight setting, relishing the ambience over a glass of  wine.

With Fantastic Food

Breakfast includes buffet, à la carte and continental options, or sample an Indian breakfast such as a Masala Omelet or Upma a rava flour pancake topped with masala and vegetables.  Or pre-order speciality items such as Shakshuka, muffins and sweet breads or their special Cinnamon walnut Porridge. 

Lunch/dinner options are plenty - you will sample an array of Goan-style cuisine. From seafood and chicken to a wonderful selection of Vegetarian fare, mixed veg curry, paneer, spiced carrots and beetroot.

Followed by homemade cakes, chocolate, tropical fruit, trifle or Amul ice cream.

Your days can be spent at the villa or your time can be used to explore the incredible jungle and many gorgeous beaches around the grounds.

A boat trip is available to spot the local wildlife whether that’s birds in the beautiful garden, eagles in the jungle or dolphins in the ocean.

​The week is fully catered for with one evening meal being spent at a private table on the beach as you watch the sunset.

1. What styles of yoga are taught on the retreat?

We offer two yoga classes a day morning Vinyasa flow followed by an extended savasana meditation.

2. Can beginners join?

Yes, beginner can join. We have all yoga levels from beginners to intermediate and Kay modifies the classes so you can practice at your own pace. 

3. What is the average size of the group?

No more than 10 people, this is an intimate retreat. 

4. Can Yoga help relieve stress?

Yes and Healthline state that research has shown that developing a personal yoga practice can help prevent and reduce stress, which is a common goal among people who want to create positive growth and focus on self-improvement.

In addition to physical postures, your yoga routine can include breathing, meditation, and relaxation techniques like yoga nidra.

5. What type of people join the yoga retreats?

People from all over the world, a few are from the UK, Solo travellers couples, friends, siblings and we always have a range of ages, everyone is welcome. We have group dinners and day trips for those who want to join but also respect peoples's space if need it all part of the holiday.

6. Will Yoga help my menopause symptoms?

The menopause charity state that Yoga can help manage the physical and psychological symptoms that many women experience during the transition from perimenopause to menopause. It can also improve their long-term physical and mental health in post menopause when the depletion of oestrogen can lead to osteopenia and osteoporosis (brittle bones), sarcopenia (muscles loss), and the risk of cardio vascular disease. 

7. Will a yoga retreat help me after a sport injury?

Yes and the National Institute of Health stated that musculoskeletal flexibility, stability, muscle strength, and balance can be increased through yoga.

There will be one set of transport to and from the airport arranged for all the residents. However, if residents choose to take a different flight, their transport between the airport and the villas will not be included.
