Hi my name is Kay
Passionate about yoga, Mindfulness and well-being. I am following my dream to make
yoga available to everyone, regardless of age or fitness. Yoga is a wonderful way to
keep our minds and bodies engaged, relaxed and in harmony to support us to deal with
I am based in Stafford and certified through Yoga Alliance Professionals to teach CSV
Yoga, Yoga Shred™and Pregnancy Yoga, to both groups and individual private sessions.
Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga is creative, flowing and fun. It allows us space to practise
a creative and playful flow in a mindful way for safer joint anatomy and a deep
connection to your core. Empowering our whole bodies with signature CSV Yoga moves
and sequences feels incredible.
I had been practising yoga on and off for years and 4 years ago decided to take my practice further and train to become a teacher. Being 50 I was apprehensive of my capabilities but my passion has served me well; my practice along with mindfulness has really enhanced and changed my life. I want to share this with others and give them the confidence to do what makes them feel good and know that we can succeed if we put our minds to it. I am on a mission to make yoga assessable to everyone, especially people who maybe feel that they aren’t the type of person who could do yoga because people who do yoga are super fit, slim and can wrap their legs around their head. Anyone can do yoga; from children to seniors, you can find away.
I was in education for over 18 years and now instead of teaching English and Art, I am now teaching yoga. My focus is experiencing being present, mindful and confident, both on and off the mat.
I have studied mindfulness and meditation and incorporate this into my yoga practice; they go hand in hand.
I am also a fully qualified massage therapist with qualifications in Sports, Swedish, Aromatherapy, Deep tissue, Indian Head and Acupressure chair massage. Working from a beautiful studio in my home and also travel to clients.
I have trained in nutrition and give workshops and advice to help after an illness or for general healthy eating.
I am always looking for an adventure whether it is exploring a new place or a new culture, mountain biking or snowboarding, to name but a few.
Look forward to sharing my journey with you... Kay x
